Description: Understating and capturing clients needs are crucial at Shutterstock Custom, where fortune 500 brands come to create custom content. In order to communicate a brand’s vision for a campaign, clients are required to fill out a brief. The old experience were mainly open text fields and limited guidance for each input, creating the need for our internal team to transcribe brief submissions into content creator friendly versions. The new briefing process is a conversational piece of software that has an intuitive experience, allowing users to input accurate and necessary information in order to provide direction for a content creators to execute. This new process has completely cut out the need for transcription and reduced the average time a user spent writing a brief, from 90min to 30min, and the new easy-to-use interface onboards new clients easily into brief creation.
Process: Lead on design strategy, story mapping, research (customer interviews, surveys, competitive analysis), empathy maps, UX journey mapping (ux, decisions trees), wire-frames, user testing, hi-fi mockups, hand off/QA with engineering.
