Hello ? I’m Andrea, a product design leader.
I have always had a fascination with digital spaces that led me to design them. At a time when phones became ‘smart’ – tactile experiences, I found myself intertwined with problem solving with the freedom of creative expression; designing products where utility meets delight.
I love the challenge of approaching a complex problem and transforming it into simplified- sophisticated- joyful products of quality that is loved by their users. My process is agile driven, using design thinking frameworks coupled with research, and heavy team collaboration to ensure we’re delivering high quality products to users.
For more than a decade, I have been practicing my craft. I have established a variety of products from the ground up, re-designed legacy apps for multi-platform experiences, and defined design languages for organizations by establishing design systems at different levels of maturity. I have also been managing and mentoring my fellow designers, building and leading design teams, driving design processes and strategies, while delivering business outcomes for a number of organizations.
When I am not busy asking why and how, I am out exploring and documenting this great big world through my camera lens.
